There are many websites dedicated to helping your plan and reserve your next vacation. Many vacationers are using Internet resources to plan their vacations, compare prices on vacations, and make reservations for their vacations. Don't stop with vacations, you can also use the Internet resources to plan everyday travel, and if you are travelling last minute, you can get some great rates by shopping around a little. With online reservations, you can also print your reservations confirmation and take it with you to your destination.
Online reservations are quick and easy, from air flights, to hotels, to cruises, to all-inclusive resorts, nearly everyone is accespting online reservations these days. Use the resources on this page to help you better plan your next trip by making reservations online.
IMPORTANT TIP: One thing you should note when making your travvel reservations online is that you will often find that you have a choice of either bookin directly with the airline, hotel, or cruiseline, or you can go through a third-party agent like Travellocity or Expedia.com or any other travel site for that matter. In many instances you will want to check both sources before booking on-line in order to get the best price. If the travel provider does not have the best online pricing, you might try calling them directly and making your reservation over the phone.

I am not against online purchases as me and my family make online purchases weekly; however, I would like to share a recent experience.
We had been planning a researching a vacation for weeks via online sites. We finally found what we thought was the best deal and were ready to make our purchase. However, we happened to contact a local travel just to see what they could get us as a comparison. The local travel agent beat the best online price we found by almost 50%. Our 12-day all-inclusive vacation package went from nearly $5000 for two people down to $2700; for the exact same package at the exact same resort.
Again, I am not condoning online travel reservations; however, doing your homework thoroughly always pays off.
